CIB seven 2.0.4 hotfix3 EE - Release Notes

Release Date: November 6, 2026

Highlights

  • Process Definition View Opening a process definition no longer loads the activity statistics over the complete history of the version, which ran into database timeouts on installations with a large history. The view now opens on the Runtime instances tab
  • Diagram Statistics A new range selector limits the history badges of the BPMN diagram to the process instances started within the selected period, the last 24 hours by default

User Experience Improvements

Process Definition View

  • The Runtime instances tab is now shown on every history level, including full, and the process definition view opens on it. On this tab and on the Incidents tab, the BPMN diagram shows running instances and open incidents from the runtime data, and the activity history of the process definition is not requested
  • Added a “Diagram statistics” range selector to the BPMN diagram on the tabs that show history: last 5 minutes, last hour, last 24 hours, last 7 days, last 30 days or all. The default is the last 24 hours. The finished, canceled, running and incident badges then count only the process instances started within that range. Select “All” to get the unrestricted counts
  • Switching to another version of the process definition keeps the selected tab instead of returning to the history instances tab
  • Opening a process definition no longer adds an extra entry to the browser history, so the back button leaves the view instead of switching to the history instances tab

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed the runtime instances table still showing the instances of the previous version after switching to another version of the process definition
  • Fixed the runtime instances table showing an empty result instead of the loading indicator while the first page was being loaded
  • Fixed the link to the called process being disabled for call activities with a dynamic target (an expression as called element) on tabs that load no history
  • Fixed date filters in the search box showing a time one hour off when the selected date and the current date lie on different sides of a daylight saving time change
