Interacting with the App – Filtering and Searching
CIB ins7ght provides flexible filtering and search options that allow users to focus on the most relevant process data.
You can find the report filters at the top of each page; these filters dynamically adjust the visuals and metrics displayed across the interface.
Available Filters
-
Process Name:
Displays a list of all processes that have been deployed.
If multiple processes share the same name, the process key is shown alongside each entry to help you distinguish between them. -
Process Version:
Lists all available versions of the selected process.
This enables a version based analysis and comparison over time. -
Timeframe:
Defines the time interval used for the analysis.
All metrics and visualizations adapt to the selected period, allowing users to analyze performance trends and changes. You can choose between specific dates on a calendar or preset time periods (e.g.: Last Month). Please note that the hour specific intervals of a selected day are between 00H00M and 23H59M.
How Filters Work by Page
-
Global Overview Page:
You can filter by all processes or narrow down to a specific process or version.
This allows for a broad understanding of overall performance or a focused look at a single process across its lifecycle. -
Process Analysis Pages:
These pages are designed for deep analysis of a specific process.
You can select one process and one version at a time to ensure precision in performance and insights.
Best Practices
- Select Process Name first to narrow your scope, then refine further using Process Version.
- Adjust the Timeframe to compare current vs. past performance or detect seasonal patterns.
Filtering effectively helps tailor the analysis to your exact needs, making it easier to identify trends, detect issues, and evaluate process optimization over time.
